NLP Presupposition Easily Explained

I still remember that one of the subjects that give me a hard time learning NLP is to understand the concept of its presupposition. I’ve tried to buy several NLP books just to get a better grip over presupposition meaning, but because all the books I can accessed were only translated books, I doubt that the translator clearly understand about it since they can’t explain it good enough.

In simpler words, NLP presupposition is a set of assumption that will bring positive outcome when you try to implement changes and become the sets of models of the world. In practicing NLP, we all need to understand and practice this presupposition and guide you to a successful session. In this article, I will explains the first 5 of 10 well known presupposition.

What is NLP? Definition and History

When the first time I’ve heard about NLP, I can’t stop asking in my mind about “What is NLP?” since many people from the human resources department is buzzing about how NLP can work through some issues and tune up someone’s working performance, some even said that it can be used on dating activities. Pretty interesting aren’t they? :D

After doing some Google research, I finally came to understand that NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) is some science about how people behave developed by Richard Bandler and John Grinder in 1970′s era.  Of course it’s not just any ordinary behavioural science, NLP focused on defining the language structure and behaviours usage that will give people excellent results in what they do.
